To the general glee of the tourism sector, Jack Straw has presented the annual Review of Foreign and Commonwealth Office Travel Advice, which recommends that the FCO should change its criteria for travel advice. In particular, intelligence-related blanket travel bans (i.e., terrorism warnings) should be reduced to a minimum by applying them to “severe and imminent threats” only.
